After watching too many shark movies, I get really paranoid with the ocean. Kinda ironic since we live in Bali and we’re surrounded by it. And yesterday, for the very first time, I went snorkeling!

We went to Padang Bai - Blue Lagoon with our friends; Kaz, Chris and Rita. They are nature lovers and couldn’t wait to introduce me to the great blue ocean. We spent about 2 hours just snorkeling around and I must say the view was totally FANTASTIC! It was truly an amazing experience. Colorful corals, beautiful fish with all kinds of sizes and my favorite one, the clown fish! Most of them hid inside the anemone though, just like in Finding Nemo.

All I can say is that I’m glad I jumped to the boat and into the water. I certainly don’t mind having my second, third, fourth, …

I can’t believe it’s been 2 months since I wrote lol.. What can I say, the whole moving process with crappy internet connection really worn me out. Now that we’re finally settled in this sunnyland, I couldn’t be happier. Our home is just nice. It’s a 2 story house with 4 bedrooms and swimming pool. We decided to choose the room upstairs coz the view is nicer and we love the big balcony.

To top it all, we also got a new puppy, Darius. He’s a 2 month old German Shepherd, clearly the cutest thing. Very smart but can be a handful sometimes. It’s okay, we love him anyways.

So, me and JErm have decided to have this whole mute thing. I think it’s good for both of us since we’re so used to each other that we’re missing the element of missing, if you know what I mean?

I will see him again on Tuesday and looking forward to un-mute ourselves!

We had a very romantic date on Valentine’s Day at Grace. One of my favorite restaurants in Bandung, and JErm surprised me with a lovely make-up case that I’ve been dying to get and of course tons and tons of red roses. We had the best imported steak, lovely soup and delicious strawberry cheesecake accompanied by our favorite red wine from B&G. Romance was certainly in the air… Until the restaurant rejected my credit card because apparently it has expired (before time!). Oh well, some lady from Anz is gonna get it.

After the fantastic dinner, we went to Cathy’s house. This was the first time I got introduced to her and her beautiful daughter. Took JErm long enough to get us all acquainted! Cathy is a lovely Brazilian lady who has been living in Bandung for 14 years! I totally love her, she’s so fun to be with, and her daughter was also nice, although we didn’t actually chat, but she’s great.

In short, my Valentine was awesome!

After a long wait, our first new car finally arrived today! We decided to get the brand new black Toyota Avanza. We even changed the audio to Pioneer so we can plug our iPod or listen to our favorite CDs whenever we feel like it. We also plan to modify the car so that everything will be in black. Sounds cool huh?

The car’s great, the credit isn’t lol.. but it’s always fun to have your own ride!

I turned 27 today and had the best birthday ever. For starter, at 12 midnight, JErm prepared this lovely surprise in our bedroom with 27 vanilla scented candles and a yummy blueberry cheesecake on the desk. Sounds simple right? but when I read what was written on the cake and saw him down on his knee with a diamond ring on his hand.. it totally surprised me.

Now I have a beautiful diamond ring around my finger and am happily engaged.

Ahh.. what a wonderful number it is, 27.

So Christmas is about 3 weeks away but JErm has already got me some early Christmas presents (not that I mind, though!). The first and very special one is this super sleek Sony PSP slim! Of course I’m very excited because now I can play my favorite games/songs/movies anywhere and anytime I want. Next, he got me 2 new shirts from Marks & Spencers. Today he got me black eye-shadow with dark red lipstick from VOV, one of my favorite brands.

Since we have decided to give spoilers, I got him new pair of Levi’s jeans and he looks super hot in it.. plus the titanium necklace completed with the cross pendant. He lost his when we went to Bali. So, it’s a good gift!

I guess I’ve been a really good girl this year!
