I turned 27 today and had the best birthday ever. For starter, at 12 midnight, JErm prepared this lovely surprise in our bedroom with 27 vanilla scented candles and a yummy blueberry cheesecake on the desk. Sounds simple right? but when I read what was written on the cake and saw him down on his knee with a diamond ring on his hand.. it totally surprised me.
Now I have a beautiful diamond ring around my finger and am happily engaged.
Ahh.. what a wonderful number it is, 27.
My sweet sister got married last Saturday (8th December).
We woke up at 6 in the morning and went to the salon to get our make up and hair done. It was a blast and we got to the hotel around 1ish. The hotel room was great, we got lucky and had the Executive floor. I totally love the bathroom!
The matrimony started at 5pm and dinner at 7pm. Everyone invited showed up and the food was great – I love the hot chocolate pudding, it was really yummy.
I’m glad everything went well and that she had the best time of her life. I wish her all the best and all the love in the world!
So Christmas is about 3 weeks away but JErm has already got me some early Christmas presents (not that I mind, though!). The first and very special one is this super sleek Sony PSP slim! Of course I’m very excited because now I can play my favorite games/songs/movies anywhere and anytime I want. Next, he got me 2 new shirts from Marks & Spencers. Today he got me black eye-shadow with dark red lipstick from VOV, one of my favorite brands.
Since we have decided to give spoilers, I got him new pair of Levi’s jeans and he looks super hot in it.. plus the titanium necklace completed with the cross pendant. He lost his when we went to Bali. So, it’s a good gift!
I guess I’ve been a really good girl this year!
JErm and I had a date, like old days. We haven’t done that for a while so it was pretty refreshing. We had nice dinner at Oriental restaurant and ended up watching Skinwalkers. I must say that the film is quite predictable but it’s pretty good. The girl Sonja (Natassia Malthe) was the bomb with her killer body and sexy long hair!
Then on the weekend, we went back to his hometown, which is about 2 hour drive from the city. We watched Beowulf. I was totally blown away by the 3D. Having worked in 3D animation company for 2 years, this is definitely a piece of art. The only flaw I spotted was the eyes. They should make the characters blink more.
Anyways, The Kingdom and Hitman are next on my list.
After struggling for a long while trying to figure out which domain name I should use for my personal blog, I decided to get viecouture.net instead, only because it’s related to my fashion blog, and my fashion blog is my baby! So, it’s easy to remember and saves me from hassle.
